Bosse School of Music is an award-winning, non-degree granting music education facility, featuring college-degreed instructors, 14 individual lesson rooms, a recital room and a state-of-the-art recording studio. The school awards certificates for completed programs. All instruments are offered for individual lessons as well as voice, ensembles, theory and technique, summer programs and clinics. The school is run by Ron Bosse and Trina Aitken, both Berklee grads.
Wood & Strings Music Center has been servicing the Arlington community since 1985. It carries a full selection of guitars, banjos, mandolins and hand drums. It also sells stock sheet music and items to help musicians care for their instruments. In addition, the trained staff can provide instruction in piano, guitar and world percussion.
